Privacy notice
Last updated: 23 May 2026
OMANEST is a private real estate advisory headquartered in Muscat. This notice explains how we handle the small amount of personal data the website processes, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
OMANEST is the data controller. Reach us at privacy@omanest.com for any request relating to your data.
Cookies we set
We use only first-party cookies. We never share data with advertising networks or third-party analytics platforms.
- omanest_attr_first — your first arrival's campaign tag, kept for one year so we can credit the right channel.
- omanest_attr_last — your most recent arrival's campaign tag, kept for thirty days.
- omanest_consent — your choice on this banner, kept for one year so we don't keep asking.
- Chat and voice session cookies — kept only while you have an active conversation, with a thirty-minute idle timeout.
Lawful basis
We rely on your explicit consent for the attribution cookies (you accepted the banner). Operational cookies needed to run the chat or voice session are processed under our legitimate interest in providing the service you asked for.
How long we keep your data
If you become a lead — meaning you started a chat, voice session, or filled a form — we keep your record for up to 36 months after our last interaction. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
If you only browse and never identify yourself, no record of you persists beyond the cookies above.
Your rights under Oman's PDPL
You can ask us to: confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send you a portable copy. Email privacy@omanest.com and we'll respond within thirty days.
Where your data lives
Our servers are hosted in Europe. Voice conversations route through Telnyx and LiveKit, which we have engaged under written data-processing agreements. WhatsApp messages, when used, are subject to Meta's terms.
Changes to this notice
We will refresh this page when our processing changes. Material updates will surface in the consent banner so you can review them again.
